Maritza Resendez:  Senior Paralegal

Maritza Resendez obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2000. She has over 12 years of experience in immigration law, with a solid concentration in employment-based green cards (PERM, I-140 Petitions, Adjustment of Status applications, and Consular Processing). She also has experience and background with family-based permanent resident petitions and applications. Her second language is Spanish.


Dina Engineer:  Immigration Paralegal

Dina Engineer has worked in the immigration field since 1998 and joined Rose Carson in 2012. She has a Bachelorís degree in Psychology from University of Bombay, India, and a Paralegal Certificate from University of San Francisco. Dinaís experience focuses primarily on PERM applications but extends to H1B nonimmigrant petitions, I-140 immigrant petitions, and I-485 Adjustment of Status applications. She prioritizes her work to meet deadlines, communicates with clients to keep them abreast of their case status, and responds to their questions and concerns. In her spare time Dina enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, reading and travelling.


Sedina Furtado:  Immigration Paralegal

Sedina graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She has lived in Germany prior to moving to the Bay Area in 1998. She joined Rose Carson in October 2011. Sedina mainly assists with nonimmigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, TN, O-1, J-1, E-2, and E-3 petitions. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.


Sean McMahon:  Immigration Paralegal

Sean McMahon has worked with Rose Carson since June 2014. Orginally from NYC, Sean earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Tufts University and Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College. He spent 8+ years as a preschool teacher in Manhattan and later an education director for Head Start in the Bronx, NY before leaving the profession in the mid 2000s to pursue a long time interest in DJing. Sean built a productive career with a four year weekly residency at a club in Midtown Manhattan, events at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, international bookings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, annual appearances in the NYC Pride March, and numerous bookings in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Sean decided to relocate to the Bay Area at the end of 2013 and continues to DJ while exploring the cultural richness and abundance of outdoor activities around the City by the Bay. New to the legal profession, Sean has worked on a variety of cases, focusing on H-1B work visas, I-140 Immigrant petitions, Labor Certification applications, and Adjustment of Status applications and is eager to be learn more in his new endeavor.


Tara Benner:  Immigration Paralegal

Tara is currently attending San Francisco State University where she is persuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She joined Rose Carson in June 2012. Tara has experience with employment-based cases, including H-1B petitions, Labor Certification applications, I-140 Immigrant Petitions and I-485 Adjustment of Status applications. In her free time, Tara enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.
