Timothy D. Widman is Attorney, Of Counsel for Rose Carson LLP. Mr. Widman was admitted to the California Bar in 1997 and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Santa Clara County Bar Association. He has practiced immigration and nationality law for over 10 years, including while serving in the Human Resources Department of a large technology company, with the Law Office of Helga M. Carson as an associate attorney focusing on business immigration, and as a sole proprietorship representing clients in family-based immigration, citizenship, humanitarian and removal cases. He has also worked as an associate for a civil litigation firm in San Jose.
Mr. Widman served as the 2015-2016 Chair of the AILA Santa Clara Valley Chapter and thereby also served on AILAís Board of Governors. He has contributed articles on topics in immigration law and ethics and spoken at CLE conferences, including the 2015 AILA California Chapters Conference and the 2016 AILA Annual Conference. Mr. Widman has also volunteered with the Santa Clara County Bar Association as a fee arbitrator. He served on the Board of Directors for the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce from 2014 to 2016. Mr. Widman earned his Bachelorís degree from Vassar College in 1991 and his law degree from Tulane University Law School in 1996.
